The 2011 BMW335is fell into a gap BMW imagined that lay between the 300HP 335i and the 414HP M3. The BMW 335 was a solid grand tourer, and the “is” got 320hp, and up to 370ft-lbs of torque using an overboost function. But the big difference is that it kept the twin-turbo engine (whereas the 335i went to a single turbo). It got a better cooling system and the exact same dual-clutch trans as the M3 got. That’s a very good recipe already, but as many know, the FI BMW inline 6 engines are rather strong. They can take a lot more boost, and make a lot more power. 500WHP in the case of this one. This 2011 BMW 335is driven by The Smoking Tire has larger turbos (with all the necessary piping), a tune, intake, sorted suspension, and up to 20PSi.
