Lumma Design tuning kits were never meant to please everyone – some love them, others hate them. They are very extreme, even more than Hamann ones. Take a look at the model below done by the Russian tuner TopCar.
TopCar and Lumma Design collaborate closely. Apparently, the Russians prefer cars that were changed drastically, so they are among those who can’t stop loving LD’s work. The BMW X5 CLR R was done completely in a black theme. Actually, at the first glance, it’s not too obvious how it is different from the stock model. When you look closer, you will notice the new front bumper and splitter with LED lights. There are also new hood vents and larger air intakes on the front bumper. Custom side skirts were added to the sides, and the transformation was completed with rear and front fender extensions.
The bumper on the back got an integrated diffuser with new tailpipes. A tailgate spoiler is new and it helps a lot with aerodynamics. On top of everything else, a new set of LUMMA CLR 23″ GT matte black wheels was included, and now the car is completely black.
