The BMW M2 was recently nominated the best car to buy, and now, together with the M240i model, it was chosen among the top 10 cars for 2017 by Car and Driver.
This is a double success for the M division, as the nomination of both the M2 and the 2 Series M was a surprise. Besides them, Car and Driver included some of the really awesome cars in their pick: Porsche Cayman, Ford Mustang Shelby GT350, and Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport are just some of them.
While our two Bimmers are fairly similar, they still have a different audience so both of them were suggested for a nomination. Believe it or not, some people find the M2 to be “too much” and would prefer its calmer brother M240i.
