Luxury car enthusiasts in the United States eagerly await the 2024 BMW X2. While BMW Deutschland has its 2024 X2 configurator ready, the US branch offers a 360-degree visualizer and preliminary pricing. The base xDrive28i starts at $42,000, $5,400 more than the cheapest 2023 X2.
The 2023 model had a less expensive X2 sDrive28i variant at $36,600, now dropped for 2024. The new base model, xDrive28i, starts $3,400 higher than its 2023 counterpart. However, you get more crossover value as the second-generation X2 (U10) is more substantial than the F39.
Opt for the X2 M35i at $51,400 for the M Performance version. Although there was no 2023 X2 M35i, the 2022 model was $4,950 cheaper at $46,450. Plus, there’s an extra $995 for destination and handling fees.
The European market offers a broader range, including a diesel sDrive18d and the electric iX2 xDrive30, with more options coming in summer 2024. US buyers have an advantage with the M35i’s 312 hp, while Europeans settle for 296 hp. This 16-hp difference applies to the X1 M35i too, depending on the region. The second-generation BMW X2 will launch globally in March 2024.
