BMW is marking 30 years of manufacturing in Mexico with an ultra-rare edition of the M2, exclusively available to buyers in Mexico. This special BMW M2 30 Years Edition comes with a twist—it’s strictly manual, offering a six-speed gearbox for those who crave the classic driving experience. Unlike the standard M2, this edition is limited to just 30 units, making it highly sought after.

The M2 30 Years Edition comes in two stunning matte finishes: Frozen Portimao Blau (a metallic blue) and Frozen Pure Grey (a metallic grey). The interior is no less striking, featuring adjustable bucket seats in red and black Merino leather, carbon fibre accents, and an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel for a luxurious and performance-driven feel.

Under the hood, this M2 is a powerhouse. It boasts a 473-horsepower twin-turbo inline-six engine, providing 20 more horsepower than the standard M2. Though BMW has included several upgrades for the 2025 M2 lineup, including new badging and an improved steering wheel, it’s unclear if the new silver-painted wheels will be an option for this limited edition.
All 30 units will be produced in BMW’s San Luis Potosi facility in Mexico. Priced at $2,149,900 MXN (around $107,650 USD), it’s considerably more expensive than the regular M2, but its rarity and exclusive availability are sure to attract collectors and enthusiasts alike.
