BMW’s M Performance X6 Defies Expectations

BMW stands apart in the automotive landscape by championing potent engines like the six-cylinders found in the M240i and M2, as well as the iconic V8s that power the company’s larger vehicles. The latest example of this commitment comes in the form of the M Performance X5 and X6 models, now equipped with a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine featuring a mild-hybrid setup. Pushed to its limits on an unrestricted stretch of the German highway, the X6 M60i reached speeds of up to 158 mph, surpassing BMW’s own quoted top speed of 155 mph.
