A Silverstone F82 M4 has been spotted testing on the Nurburgring with M Carbon Ceramic Brakes. No new design details are revealed by this prototype but there are recent information that came up about the technical details of the car:Â The engine powering the M3/M4 will feature a nearly 8000 RPM redline. The current M3 engine redlines at 8400 RPM. Bimmerpost says that the source of this information is a high-ranking BMW M official intimately familiar with M3/M4 development. As previously reported, the M3/M4’s S55 engine will be an inline 6 cylinder with multiple turbos, delivering approximately 100 lb-ft more torque and almost the same horsepower as the current M3 (S65) engine.
