Spy Photos – BMW M3 DTM Car Caught Testing

BMW Motorsport is just a week away and everyone is excited for 2012 M3 DTM car to be revealed. After 2o years, the M3 will make a comeback into the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (German Touring Cars). Fortunately, the 2012 M3 DTM car has been spotted by spy photographers doing some testing and prepping for next week’s big event. This photo shows the M3 DTM car looking very unique from the GT car competing in the ILC and American Le Mans Series due to its aerodynamic features, low slung suspension, and wide body. However, the M3 DTM car will most likely be powered by the 4.0L V8 under the hood of the ALMS M3 GT.
