In Mexico, there have been many drug wars that result to a number of kidnappings and assas- sinations. BMW took advantage of this situation by selling more armored cars. Autoblog reports that BMW’s armored car sales increased by 20% in 2010. This secures BMW’s prime position in the armored car market. Who wouldn’t like bulletproofed X5s, 5 Series and 7-Series when your life is in danger?
