Lifelong BMW Enthusiast now buried under a BMW Tombstone

Not all BMW enthusiasts get the chance of bringing a BMW at their final resting place. But for Steve Marsh, who died last year at age 51, this rare opportunity was given by his family as a gesture of their love. His tombstone is now designed in the shape of his favourite car: the BMW M3 convertible. This was designed in England by a stonemason but was custom-made in China. Once done, it was shipped back to London. Weighing 2,200 lbs. of pure granite imported from the Far East, it needed to be put in place by a crane with the help of 20 people. Overall, the cost was roughly $75,000 — close to the price of an M3 convertible in England.
