The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issues a five star rating for the 2015 BMW X5 in the Frontal Crash Test. The perfect rating applies to both the driver and passenger testing. In the Side Crash Rating and Side Pole Crash Rating, the new BMW X5 also scored a perfect five star. NHTSA rates the 2015 BMW X5 with a four star rating in the rollover test.
