AC Schnitzer Lava Red BMW i8 from Abu Dhabi

In the last Geneva Motor Show, BMW introduced a new exterior finish for the BMW i8: the BMW i8 Protonic Red edition. During the world premiere, the BMW i8 was presented wearing this color plus a few special design features including Frozen Grey Metallic contrast accents, new W-spoke 470 light-allow wheels painted in Orbit Grey Metallic with hubs painted in Aluminum Matte and “i8” embossing on the front head restraints as well as door sill strips bearing the lettering “Protonic Red Edition”. However, the production was limited to only a few units. Then, we knew that the i8 wears red very well. This version of the i8 in a sleek and sexy Lava Red exterior paint, takes that to the next level.

This particular unit was delivered by BMW Abu Dhabi and it definitely has looks to impress. The customer knew exactly what he wanted. He added all the AC Schnitzer parts possible. It was dressed with five-spoke wheels, a big carbon fiber spoiler up front, carbon fiber side sills and a big wing on the boot.

The Lava Red color is a head turner. It is combined with white leather on the interior for a nice contrast. Right now, it has not been confirmed if this color was provided specifically by the BMW Abu Dhabi dealership or if its a part of the BMW Individual Program.
