The new G05 BMW X5 will become available in 2019 and it will come with a couple of handy upgrades. Most importantly, it will be built on the new CLAR architecture. You may not be able to see this, but you will certainly feel it while driving.
The new platform, shared among the X5, X6 and X7, will ensure some weight shedding. This will make the cars perform better and have better MPG figures.
The latest rumor states that the new X5 should come with completely new petrol engines. Diesel engines will be in the game, too. The US market, according to a Munich source, will be getting the following versions: the sDrive40i, xDrive40i and xDrive50i.
