Dropping any doubt that a BMW M2 is in works, a prototype was spotted during a testing session at Nurburgring. The video below shows the M2 prototype with the exhaust system from M235i.
The BMW M2 will be powered by an updated version of the N55 TwinPower 3.0 liter engine (N55B30T0) delivering 360 to 380 hp, and around 350 lb-ft of torque. The BMW M2 is scheduled to launch in late 2015 or early 2016.
