BMW M4 CSL to arrive in 2023: A combination of G82 M4 and M2 CS

After the huge media success of the recently launched BMW M2 CS, fans of the brand are clamouring for yet another unique model. The M2 CS demonstrated that the M Division can still produce cars that pique our interest as enthusiasts. Furthermore, the new BMW M4 Competition has proven to be a fantastic driver’s car in its own right. But what would happen if we combined the two? We will find out as the BMW M4 CSL debut in 2023.

Resurrecting the iconic M4 brand, the BMW M4 CSL is set to launch in 2023according to Bimmerpost. For some good reason, BMW hasn’t utilized the “CSL” moniker since the iconic E46 M3 CSL. It will be difficult to surpass that magnificent machine, which is still revered over two decades later. But, the new G82 BMW M4 is such a terrific building block that the M Division might once again work its magic.

The BMW M2 CS is a pleasurable vehicle to drive. It exhibits excellent steering, stability, and a dynamic feel that reminds you why BMW M is generally the best in its class.

For now, we don’t have specific details about the BMW M4 CSL, but we can say that it will only be produced in few hundred units, just like the F82-gen BMW M4 GTS. Probably, it will generate 500 to 550 horsepower. But things remain unknown. Whether it will come in a manual or automatic transmission and will it be an RWD or an AWD. We don’t know yet, but we are excited for sure.
