Alpina D4 Biturbo driven – is this the world’s best performance diesel?

The D4 Biturbo is Alpina’s follow up to the stunning D3. It’s capable of reaching 60mph in 4.6 seconds and can return up to 53mpg. Sounds like the perfect package, then, but are there any drawbacks? Autocar finds out.
