BMW Eyes Nürburgring Glory with BMW M4 GT3 EVO

BMW M Motorsport and ROWE Racing are set to challenge for another historic victory at the gruelling Nürburgring 24 Hours in June 2025. Following their remarkable triumph in 2020, which marked BMW’s milestone 20th win, the team aims to add another chapter to their impressive record at the iconic German circuit. Their ambitions centre around the brand-new BMW M4 GT3 EVO, piloted by an exceptional team of drivers determined to secure BMW’s 21st overall victory.

Since their Nürburgring debut with BMW vehicles in 2016, ROWE Racing, spearheaded by seasoned Team Principal Hans-Peter Naundorf, has consistently delivered remarkable performances. Alongside their celebrated win, the team has impressively secured second-place finishes three times in recent race editions. This year, ROWE Racing’s BMW M4 GT3 EVO will be entrusted to seasoned racers Augusto Farfus, Jesse Krohn, Raffaele Marciello, and Kelvin van der Linde, blending veteran experience and youthful determination.

Among these drivers, Farfus and van der Linde have previously tasted victory at the demanding Nürburgring circuit. Meanwhile, Krohn and Marciello are eager to secure their maiden triumph at one of motorsport’s most prestigious events. In preparation, ROWE Racing is scheduled to participate in the Nürburgring Endurance Series races ahead of the main event, fine-tuning their strategies and ensuring their car is competition-ready.

BMW M Motorsport is not only focused on the GT3 category; fans will witness the Nürburgring debut of the BMW M4 GT4 EVO, driven by selected customer teams. Additionally, enthusiasts will get an early glimpse of the upcoming BMW M2 Racing, which will undergo rigorous testing throughout the season, including at the 24-hour race. Various private BMW teams will also participate, showcasing diverse generations of BMW race cars, further amplifying the excitement around the event.

Despite challenging logistical demands due to consecutive weekend endurance events, BMW and ROWE Racing remain optimistic about their prospects.
