An F90 BMW M5 prototype was spotted and this time, it is showing less camo! The photos below reveal the headlights’ full shape and even the kidney grilles. The rear tail lights’ shape is also very visible. It is fitted with more aggressive side skirts plus a small trunk lip spoiler. We can also see the brake calipers that have been painted blue, which is common in all steel M brakes.
While these photos get us really excited to see the car at launch time, the F80 M5 will be introduced to the market at least 12 months after the standard G30 5 Series is released. The online reveal is expected to happen in 2017, summertime. It is likely to make its auto show debut in the Fall of 2017. Sales will begin at the last months of 2017 or start of 2018.
Stay tuned for more updates. Credits to Bimmerpost for the photos!
