1M Enthusiasts Unite: Nürburgring’s BMW 1M Gathering

More than a decade has passed since the last BMW 1 Series M Coupe was produced. With that, the BMW 1 Series M Register recently organized an exceptional gathering at Nürburgring. This event brought together 80 of these compact sports cars. Not only that, it also drew 160 participants from 10 countries, including Dubai, Norway, and more.

The event showcased a diverse range of 1M models, from stock to heavily modified. Notable appearances included the original MOTOGP 1M pace car and BMW UK’s press car driven by YouTuber Joe Achilles.

The day started with a meet-and-greet at the BMW M Showroom on the Ring Boulevard, followed by a striking photo session with the 1M fleet. Among the 6,331 units produced, a few unique 1M models featured BMW Individual colors, including the eye-catching Monte Carlo Blue. Under the hood, the 1M boasts a N4 twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter I-6 engine, offering 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, with an overboost mode briefly pushing it to 369 pound-feet.

The day continued with a tour of the Eifel region, a photo session on the Nürburgring GP Track, and a delightful dinner at the famous Pistenklause restaurant, making it a memorable event for all 1M enthusiasts.
