2017 BMW X1 & BMW 2 Series Are “Top Safety Pick”

The Insurance Institue for Highway Safety (IIHS) named these two BMW cars as “Top Safety Pick” – the 2017 BMW X1 and 2017 BMW 2 Series.

2017 BMW X1 & BMW 2 Series Are "Top Safety Pick"

Every car is tested on five crash tests before it’s given a “Top Safety Pick”. The tests include small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side ,roof strength, and head restraints. 

This is the second time in a row the BMW X1 is getting the award. The 2 Series won it every year since its introduction in 2014.

Besides the great results in the crash tests, both these cars were praised for their body structure and design.
