The upcoming front-wheel drive platform was showcased by the BMW Concept Active Tourer Outdoor at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show. Built atop the BMW Concept Active Tourer  as a midsize-compact van, the vehicle wears an exclusive Gold Race Orange exterior paintwork. Aside from a sporty design, it also offers great functionality with generous interior space and a carrier system for sports and leisure equipment.
