MINI rumored to develop Vehicle similar to BMW’s Megacity Project

BMW’s Megacity Project has been on the news recently. But MINI is also rumored to enter into the same development for a city car vehicle that they can add to their line-up.

Considered as a Smart Fortwo rival, this vehicle will be cheaper to produce as MINI plans to use conventional technology and source cheaper mechanical components. Low development costs will ensure more profit for this project. The concept will most likely be seen a year from now, as the conception is still on its earliest stages.

Will it be a two or four seater? Will the engine be at the front or at the rear? Nothing is yet confirmed.
