BMW Recalls 6,000 BMW 5 Series and 5 GT Cars

BMW had issued a recall on some 2010 and 2011 5 Series and 5 GT cars according to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. More than 6,000 units manufactured from January 12 to July 1, 2010 are being recalled. The recall was due to a problem with the fuel sensor that might trigger the instrument cluster to display a larger amount of fuel than what is actually available in the gas tank. This could lead to a stalling vehicle and accident risks.
