Besides the plans to end the production of the current 6 Series and replace it with the 8 Series, BMW is preparing more surprises. One of them is a new sports car that will shake up the Porsche 911’s market.
It seems like BMW has decided to spread out to a high-end market and develop a mighty sports vehicle different from anything they’ve done before.
To fill the void that will appear after cutting off the 6 Series, BMW might introduce a whole new 6 Series with smaller, more agile sports cars. It’s still unknown if the announced Porsche 911’s competitor will go as a 6er or get a brand new name.
AutoExpress created a rendering that shows a sports car that resembles Aston Martin but with the recognizable BMW design. One thing is sure – you can expect a real beast in terms of power and performance.
The new model is announced for 2018.
