The BMW Art Cars will take centre stage at the 2025 Goodwood Revival from 12 to 14 September, with five iconic machines transforming Earls Court into a gallery on wheels. What began in 1975 has become a rolling archive of innovation. Each car reflects a unique blend of artistic vision and motoring prowess, celebrating both the mechanical heart of the vehicles and the creativity of those who shaped their appearance. Today, the 20-strong collection is recognised worldwide as a symbol of cultural engagement that connects fine art with the automotive world.

Visitors to Goodwood Revival will see five standout models from across the decades. Frank Stella’s reworked BMW 3.0 CSL is a motorsport legend, its geometric patterns echoing precision and engineering might. Roy Lichtenstein’s BMW 320i Turbo, adorned with his trademark pop art dots, captures motion and colour in a way few cars can. The BMW 635 CSi by Ernst Fuchs, with its dramatic imagery, introduced the collection’s first production-based model.

David Hockney’s BMW 850 CSi takes a different approach, peeling back layers to hint at the car’s inner life, while Jeff Koons’ vibrant BMW M3 GT2 radiates raw energy through its dynamic paintwork, embodying speed even at a standstill.

These masterpieces of design and horsepower will form part of the BMW Art Car World Tour, marking the collection’s 50th anniversary with global appearances. At Goodwood, enthusiasts can expect not just a showcase of cars but a celebration of creativity expressed through steel, paint and performance.
