BMW M4 GT3 EVO Leads GT World Challenge Charge At Monza 2025

The BMW M4 GT3 EVO powered its way through Monza’s famous slip-strewn curves and banking echoes to deliver a triumphant weekend for BMW M Motorsport crews in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. In searing Lombardy heat, the #777 of Jens Klingmann, Al Faisal Al Zubair and Ben Tuck stormed from seventh in the Gold Cup to seize class honours and an outstanding fourth overall. Astute pit timing, rapid tyre swaps and assured work through lapped traffic combined to keep the emerald-green machine at the front for the final ninety minutes, securing a second podium in as many rounds for AlManar Racing by WRT.

Just seconds back, Team WRT’s #32 entry of Charles Weerts, Kelvin van der Linde and Ugo de Wilde muscled from eleventh to fifth at the flag despite absorbing two time penalties. Fourth place in the Pro Cup keeps both drivers’ and teams’ titles firmly in BMW hands after their Le Castellet victory, underlining the M4 GT3 EVO’s relentless pace on long straights and through Monza’s Variante chicanes.

ROWE Racing’s afternoon proved harder. A full-course yellow moments after a crowded pit stop stranded the #98 entry down the order, and contact in the midfield forced Jesse Krohn to park with damage. The Silver Cup delivered late-race fireworks all of its own, with Century Motorsport’s #42 BMW shading Team WRT’s #30 for a BMW one-two as Jarrod Waberski nursed overheating tyres and fading brakes across the line.

Paradine Competition added sixth in Silver, while its sister Bronze machine matched the result despite heavy first-lap congestion. BMW Italia Ceccato Racing salvaged tenth in class after recovering from an early off through Lesmo Two.

Head of BMW M Motorsport Andreas Roos hailed the haul: two class wins, the overall championship lead intact, and momentum carried towards Spa-Francorchamps next month. Drivers echoed the mood—Klingmann praised flawless teamwork, Weerts was satisfied with maximum points, and Augusto Farfus vowed to turn ROWE’s frustration into determination on Belgium’s flowing Ardennes asphalt.

Monza’s high-speed chess match has set the stage for Spa’s 24-hour epic, and the BMW M4 GT3 EVO heads there with pace proven, strategies sharpened and silverware already on board.
