MINI is developing a 7 Seater SUV

Recent reports say that MINI is developing a seven-seat crossover SUV which has been temporarily dubbed as the “Countryman Plus.” Right now, details are still very limited. We have no reports on when this will be released.

MINI’s head of brand management Dr Wolfgang Armbrecht, said that they are in the works of taking the Countryman wheelbase into another level. From 2.60 meters it will be increased to around 2.70 meters. This will enable MINI to create a vehicle that can be a direct competition to the likes of the Volkswagen Touran and other traditional MPV’s.
