I think car dealers will have to adjust their margins lower? real wages simply not keeping up...economic growth exaggerated by low base from last year.

This will never happen, when coe was cut pml upped their margin per car in order to maintain overall profit with lesser cars sold.

Thats why I dont intend to sell my 2 cars liao, keep for next 4 years. My crystal ball (not rambutan balls) say in 4 years there will be a recession...and I can pick up a 911 at dirt cheap price.....Kenn teach me one.

This is bullshit!! COE is manupulated by dealers. With ERP, which is a better mechanism for pay as you use, COE shld be obsolete. A car owner who lives in Jurong and hardly ever drives to the city do not cause congestion. Therefore, the government shld remove COE and charge higher ERP for those who insist on driving to crowded places.
