also, another excellent point about fitting any sticker, is that it keeps the glass in one piece during an accident. and this is the main reason why i want to v-cool my car. not coz of any heat rejection or anything.

we just saw an excellent real life example. i'm convinced.

ok, yeah la, for taxi la; knew this kind of discrimation will surface when i no longer drivin BMW......sigh

but seriosuly, tis Comfort Plus film is quite good so far after almost 1 week of installation; no problems with the film at all n effects are much much much better then my Rikecool in my Mit Grandis. I wld say similar to my V-cool Premeir in my previous cars.....

but seriously, do these window tints really help to cool the car faster? Any other benefits?

From my experience, Vcool works the best. but only for the premier range or vcool 40 which is dark tint. I have it on the family honda stream and can park it under the sun for hours and when i step in, its an eye opener. but u have to remember to tint the front windscreen too. thats the largest area for uv and heat to get thru. to be effective, u have to use the vcool premier range for the front windscreen too but it wont pass inspection. I also had huper optik 40% ceremic tint for my 323ci for 4 years but it loses out by a clear margin to vcool. and it wasnt cheap too, about 70% the price of vcool. vcool is expensive, but worth it if your ride has large glass areas and under the sun frequently. cheap tints dont work at all. only for aesthetic look. I know cos i had 3 layers of sunx installed in jb on my old honda civic.
