I did Rikecool on the 5 series at Telok Kurau Lorong N.
$950. Only one tiny air bubble near the base of the rear glass. Not visible unless you do a whole car inspection.

Tanzy,

Hmm, I will not recommend RikeCool leh; I had RikeCool installed on my Mit Grandis (they had some tie-up wif C&C) n it really sucks big time compared to my V-cool last time in my BMW cabrio and sedan. I nt sure whether RikeCool got any category differences though.

V-cool is good but pricey......

To Mark n Steven (SL2): I am tryin this new brand Comfort Plus on my Porsche. Much cheaper than V-cool. Just installed n will let all know the effect compared to RikeCool n Vcool.....

Cheers

Ivan... you mean your body kitted MRS ah?
Alamak!! It's you again...

Wah lau eh.. you live online is it? bleeding hell... damn bloody stressed now... needed to relax a bit mah...

but seriously, do these window tints really help to cool the car faster? Any other benefits?

Rick is our ta jie Dvanos' cousin. Confirm he will take care of your car.

in fact this morning i just did my qp with V-cool premium. Rick is very nice drive the car to my home and dropped it off. And it was a super express job. I sent in at 930am, before lunchtime, car is ready. and that even includes the installation of a 1-piece flim on the rear windscreen even though on initial inspection they said due to curvature confirm need 2 pieces.

those guys tried their best, and succeeded in using only 1 piece to install. quite impressed. sales staff there also very polite.

Make the car look more chio I suppose........Also good when you park your car along upper pierce at night too......hehehe

Ermm but do they make it easier to cool the car.. and does it affect night visibility?

Only to a certain extend. And they do not affect night visibility.

Desmond,

yes, I mean my MRS kitted Porshe; no, I mean, my Porsche Kitted MRS; no, I mean, watever la..

To all: Pls do not expect such films to do wonders like keepin yr car at room temperature after bakin in the sun for 5 hours??#@$$@ However, if u r departing fm a sheltered car park n the journey n wif the help of the air-con, little heat is being felt. Also, after bakin in the sun for couple of hours, it takes lesser time to cool down....

Also, slightly tinted glass makes the car more swee mah, imho.....

hmmm... I see... but one of my friend put V-kool in his 156 and to me the visibility seems to have gotten worse like that leh... maybe the installation was bad..
