Re: No wonder they say car mods is a bottomless pit
Jus wanna share some comments on modding.
I use to drive some relatively fast cars for the past 14 years, been modding almost every car I owned...spending at least 15K on each ride some goes beyond 35K. This year I bought a 523i, and its till stock, i had friends asking me, why keep stock, should add kits, SC, 6potter and so on. However whenever I thought of modding, its hard cash, or rather hard earned money, I know when i start modding even with just a kit, I'll nv stop there....
I remember 7 years back when the R34 was quite rare and the Evo6.5 was out. I was at "GR" modding my car, came across a nice white Evo6.5 and I started chatting with the owner. The owner spend more than 100K modding his ride. I was wondering..... "why spend 100K to mod an evo" might as well get a R34Vspec and mod the hell out of it. I finally got the answer from the workshop owner. He said..... owning a R34 is nothing as compared to owning the "fastest" evo in town zzzzz.....:laughlik:
