I liked this thread as I am also concerned about fuel consumption. More so now since the prices are so high. My ride is a 2004, 318 Valvetronic with 225/R16/55 one year old CPC2 tyres.
I have only added a K & N filter and a voltage stabiliser. Use 95 octane petrol either Mobil or Caltex.
Drive about 60% expressway and 40% city. I get on the average 8 to 8.5 km per litre. Is there anything else I can do to get a better FC without any major mods? What about these Volker plugs? Are they really that good? Any downside to it? Any tips would be appreciated.
