Thinking of buying a new 318i or near new (Few months old facelifted used ride)

Is it worth to buy a 6 months old 318i at $100k + transfer $1800 + likely higher loan interest rate or buy new at $11? k

Assuming u put the same downpayment in both circumstances, what is the difference between the total interest charge or the Monthly instalment? If small diff, new one will make sense.

If my calculation is not wrong

New = $9.5k p.a depreciation
Used = $8,8k p.a. depreciation
6 months with mileage of around 9,000km (buy & no need to run in to 10,000km- that is my consideration plus point)

No, not that bad. Just enjoy your car and ignore those people. Whether the car is good or bad, suitable for you or not, is up to you (and maybe your family) to decide, not other people.

It's like a GF/wife or a house, as long as we are happy can liao, don't bother what others say

Jokes aside David, now I know wot u mean about the creaminess of the 6 cyc engine. Orgasmic man!!!! Initially my wife refuses to drive the car cos she says too big. But she did once over the weekend and now she wants to swop her Mz3 with me! Dang!!!

lots of them...under powered, bare interior etc in some other forums some even mention that the 318i is worse than a jap car of the same category! After reading all the remarks and comments, i started to ponder if i am really made a blunder in buying this car so hastely......hai....thats why i wanted to check what is the general consensus on this car and how bad is it. Appreciate if any brothers who own / use to own this car can tell me base on your experience as i do not want to be biase just because i made a blunder. (if i really did ..that is...)
