BMW 3 series and 5 series for Sale - Used for Singapore Air Show

So the so-called promotion isn't really a promotion but a big-assed con job... :)

hmm...may not be a con job..from my take, they are going after customers who are looking at a "reduced" net price for the vehicle without doing their homework....sort of like perceived value-for-money kinda of thing....a bro rightly brought up the OMV and buy cheap, sell cheap....

OR, PML has run out of inventory of the E60, so using these "residues" to pump up the price of the new F10.....Just my take..dun quote me :woottt:

Re: BMW 3 series and 5 series for Sale - Used for Singapore Air Show

Oh dear...I have just booked a 318 used for the 2010 Air Show!
Didn't do much research and thought that the price was attractive. But having read this thread now makes me feel uneasy. Maybe I am one of the victim of con job :yikess:

Merlin,

From what I know, this time round, PML didn't do a reduction in spec less the M kit and the wood trim.

putting the 5 series aside, the 318 is bare enough already. if they reduce further, it will be wooden seat and cassette type HU. and owner have to blow their own plastic bag.. OMV is pretty much the same at 41k...

$111,800 after discount.
Hope I get a reasonably good used car

Re: BMW 3 series and 5 series for Sale - Used for Singapore Air Show

To those who bought the car through this promotion, when can you collect the ride? BEFORE or AFTER CNY?

Re: BMW 3 series and 5 series for Sale - Used for Singapore Air Show

I've asked SE before, he said no guarantees can collect ride b4 CNY.. because the air show ends just few days before the CNY.

And PML needed time to touch up the car as well as doing car wash/polish etc..

Perhaps you wanna re-confirm with your SE the exact date?

Re: BMW 3 series and 5 series for Sale - Used for Singapore Air Show

my SE say minor touch up can be done quite fast but if touch wood major de he say take and drive 1st after CNY de go back to them put car longer for touch up lo...lol
anyway andy_sg which colour u get?

If OMV is $41K, i think that is a damn good price. PML doesn't make much (if any) profit! anyway u bot already so just enjoy your cars...and welcome to the forum.:)

Re: BMW 3 series and 5 series for Sale - Used for Singapore Air Show

For those that committed to the 318, can you confirm if the OMV is 41k? :)

Re: BMW 3 series and 5 series for Sale - Used for Singapore Air Show

I think the OMV is only 34+K.....41K is for 320i I think....

Re: BMW 3 series and 5 series for Sale - Used for Singapore Air Show

I've been told they are all gone when I went to test drive a 335...and all the 7 series were taken by the casinos and dens of iniquity...*cough cough* ...i mean Integrated Resort....

haha. thats a good one. business must be real god for PML.

Re: BMW 3 series and 5 series for Sale - Used for Singapore Air Show

Understand that the specs for 318 is lower. Therefore omv lower and not possible to be 41k. Can anyone confirm?

its quite possible. 325 is 49k, 320 professional is 45k, 318 could well be in that region
