Just collected my super stock 1yr old pre-owned 320i LCI. My ride is so stock that even the rims are only 16” !!
Pic was taken on the very same day I signed on the dotted line
My first 2 mods on the very same night !! (beside ordering Breyton Rims =))
1) Replica CF Performance Style Spoiler - Just realized I did not take any pics of the spoiler after the installation !!...how bizzare
2) Smoked LED Side Marker
Kelleners Sport Pedals
Eyebrow & OEM-look Front Bumper Splitter
Gotten my blacken roundel (Front+Rear+Steering)
Installing a pre-owned Velocity (By Mr Great White)
Bimshop Sinful (Dark Chrome) Grille ....amitabah
Pre-owned BMW Performance Mufflers
Got rid of my replica splitter and went for the REAL Stuffz….BMW Performance CF Front Bumper Splitters…the quality and fitting is really 2nd to none !!
Also, got rid of my replica spoiler and went for the REAL Stuffz….BMW Performance CF Spoiler II…. need I say more ?!?!
The most interesting / frustrating part is my rims..I’ve ordered and placed a deposit for Breyton 18’ GTS Matt Gun on end May with a renown rim shop. Till yest and after several delay, was informed actual shipment will only arrive in early Sept !! All these while, I did not bother to further find out if any other shops have existing stock. Eventually I have enuff, took back my deposit and tried calling another shop to try my luck…wat do u know…they have existing stocks and the rest, as they would say, is history …. Enuff of toking…Pics Galore !!! Btw, I ended up with 19” !!!
Jus picked these up today ...... i'm just elated......BBK to me is one of the main Bling factor (too bad i cant afford Brembo GTs or Alcons)....But tis to me is more than enuff liao i.e. value for $$$ aka cheap and good :chinese::chinese::chinese:
I've just send them over to have it resprayed and hopefully it will turn out as per my expectation
More pics to come soon....by next week :woottt::woottt::woottt:
Pics as promised. Went to lup my Performance BBK, Goodridge SSBH and Bilstein+Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs yesterday. Met with a bummer incident though, will fill in later…..
After respraying, this is what they came back with….isn’t tat a beauty ?!?! :woottt::woottt::woottt:
My Goodridge 6pcs SSBH Kit
Eibach Pro-Kit + Bilstein absorbers - Bot them about 2 mths back and they have been sitting in my boot since!!! Never really have a chance to unpack and admire them till yesterday....hahaha.....Funnily, I only took pics of my 2 front absorbers….totally forgotten abt the rear set….kaozzz
Front and Rear rotor
Heres the bummer incident I was referring to earlier. I’ve sent my BBK to the workshop early last week for respraying and the appointment to lup everything mentioned was yesterday. When I was at the workshop, I was informed my rear BBK rotor is not a direct replacement for the existing stock one. No fret, I kinda knew that already but I thought simple modification could be performed there and there to have it corrected. But no, apparently the rear rotors have to be brought to a machinist (they don’t have the expertise to do it) to have it machined + welded in order to be retrofitted!!
My grouse is this… this is a renown Bimmer workshop that retrofitted many other numerous 320 with this set of BBK. I’m definitely not the first and will not be the last…So, why wait till only yesterday, when I’m there at the workshop, eagerly awaiting to see the final puzzle of my front and rear BBK being don onto my ride, only to have my excitement mercilessly murdered by informing me the rear rotor cant fit ?!?! I mean….don’t they oredi know that and why they never took the initiative to inform me early last week that I have to do this particular mod to the rear BBK rotor so it could be duly retrofitted yesterday?? Now, I have to wait for them to bring this pair of rear rotor to their machinist to do the necessary….For mod enthusiast, you know how terrible such feeling can be ya…. So near but yet so far. Having said that, they are still a very professional bunch and I am more than pleased with their service and workmanship ….but they can seriously, seriously, seriously improve on the initiative aspect of it
Fast forward abit….Front BBK + SSBH + lowering kit installed !!!
With rims on….still on hoist
Touch down…......tis is taken immediately after installation.......springs have yet to sit in
Next up….Stickers !!!! As mentioned, I will be doing up the roof and both my wing mirrors in gloss black….Here goes…..
Work in progress: Roof + Shark Fin peeking out
Mirror casing done + Shark Fin back in sight
Full galore…..less the rear BBK….haizzz
Rear Caliper pics to be updated ……Will have to wait till the week after next liao….
Ok….the rotors are finally back after some time. After looking at the end product, I then more or less realised what was the ‘modification’ about. What happened was that BBK rear rotor hat diameter is bigger the stock rear rotor hat diameter. Thus when the hat is too big, handbrake mechanism / /brake shoes within the axle area will not be able to catch the inner walls of the hat when activated to effectively stop the car. In another words, if no modification is done on the BBK rear rotor, direct installation of the said rotor will render the handbrake useless.
Hence, the modification needed was to reduce the hat diameter by means of attaching a new smaller hat onto the BBK rear rotor. But instead of the usual welding, the machinist expanded the BBK rear rotor by heating, slot in the slightly smaller new hat, followed by contraction / cooling of the entire rotor so the two piece of metal can latched onto one another. With the smaller hub, the BBK rear rotor will be able to perform its function like a stock rear rotor does….handbrake function that is….. Pardon me for my inept technical descriptions above but nonetheless, here are the pics …
From the attached pics, you can differentiate the new add-on hub as its in a darker shade of grey as compared to the rotor
Dismantling of stock rear brake kit + up with the new rear rotor with stock caliper + bleeding of the brakes
Rear BBK Lupzz
With rims on…
Tats all for now….will take side profile of my ride in due course to showcase both Frt & Rear BBK……

Some minor mods…..got my ride a BMC air filter + 01 air scoop + supposed to do tuning (in hope to rectify some jerky gear experience), end up after the initial dyno, tuner found more sinister problem with my engine…..dyno chart revealed some major dips during high rev, which is pretty much unseen of by the tuner !! He mentioned it might be the valvetronic issue….too technical liao, cant catch much balls anyway.
Aborted the tuning session and quickly arranged with PML and had my ride sent in to do a diagnostic check. I pass them my dyno chart and says they will revert again by next week ……well, hope they can solve the issue. But as it is, my ride is still doing well….I guess
Some pics to share….
Filter + scoop + a free sticker that givs 10BHP
Dyno chart....notice the dips which Ive boxed.....tuner did 3 runs for me and all reflected the same pattern, albeit slightly different. There were dips in both power and torque curve.... There was another line that was superimposed by the tuner to reflect another stock 320i he recent tuned. The difference is pretty stark i must admit......Haizzzz
Till then…….
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, Performance reverted with their comments;
From your dyno test print out the dip at 5000rpm we (at least I) do not know from where it comes from. There should be no fuel cut-off
at 5000rpm.
Normally when check for engine performance, you have only the engine on a test-bench.
In this case we have a transmission attached (automatic), which means it could be an upshift during the test,
but basically we don`t know*.
The real engine-tests are done at standard/ norm conditions (temperature, humidity etc.)
The mentioned values in the report are clueless to us:
a.) around 1700 Nm is much to high.
b.) around 80 Kw power is for sure to low.
Base on your BMW car spec :
Engine Power
115 kw/6500 rpm
156 HP/6500 rpm
Engine Torque
200 Nm / 3600 rpm
We would advise you refer back to the shop for further explanation or recommend.
Cheer!
To be frank, looking at their reply, I've more or less gave up on them to do any retification on my ride.....you chaps can see its gonna be an uphill task for them to do something about it ya ??
As it is, i'm also pretty decided NOT to do remap in this current condition. We shall see wats in store for me next.....ciao

Ordered these from ebay today.....seriously, am not exactly a big ebay fan, not that ive bad encounter, just being gutless + grossly overly kiasi due to all the horror stories Ive heard previously..... well well, shall keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best
Am not sure hows the installation & fitment is gonna be (but I gota admit the product looks very very promising from the pics posted ya) but definitely will be bringin them to a good ol trusted LED installer friend of mine ..... depending on the brightness of the DRL, may have my installer friend change out all the LEDs if its too crappy. The only reason i'm gettin these is the OEM looks that i'm after .....will definitely post pics when I received it + post installation.......stay tune
That's all for now ..........

Received tis parcel yesterday......It was supposed to be exciting but well, some family issue broke out and turns the tide....willl not go into details though. As promised, some
pics of the actual stuffz .....
Packaging :woottt:
Content - 2sets of DRL + necessary wiring and installation diagram
My 1st impression when i unpacked the DRL was that, the built quality is really beyond my expectation and looks really really OEM. The material, the finishing, the clips, the LED casing, the wirings etc etc looks really good. My iPhone pics really dont do justice. I have not really taken pics of the fulll product. Will do so in due course.
The only thing left now is to get my installer to lup this baby up. Will definitely post more pics thereafter. May not be tat soon though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As promised …… DRLs installation pics :woottt::woottt::woottt:
First off…. Face Off (installation of the DRL requires the front bumper to be removed !!) DRL snapping in place – a simple and straight forward process as the 06 snap-holes on the DRL are precisely located (circled in red) …. +10 for this MIT product
Frontal view less the snapping cover. The snapping cover is on the left bottom of the pic on the right. Once snapped in place, it will cover the empty spaces surrounding the DRL :chinese:
Snapping cover in position !! The entire DRL looked OEM !!
Bumper frontal view after DRL installation
Wiring for this DRL is less straight forward as an ACC wire needs to be tapped from the cabin area (so the DRL will be 'ON' wen the engine is cranked). As of present, my DRL are not working as yet as i need to rush off before they can do the wire tapping.....will be visiting them again next week to wrap it up

My verdict for this simota intake is this: I cant literally feel the car is more willing to rev and pull. If i can put a value to it, i would say the willingness to pull have increased by at least 30%. This figure is ofcse arbitual but this positive feeling is much much more vis-a-vis i changed into BMC filter the previous time. This may not be the best comparison i.e. entire intake vs air filter but it is my next best comparison.
