I think the sad truth is that here is SG we pay so much for even a 1 series, that in other countries we could easily buy a M car, hence all BMW in Singapore should come with M badge from the factory Floor :)

i don't even think a 228i exists…there is only 220i, 225d and M235i..at least as of now

BMW is really doing it prosciutto-style: super thinly sliced. There's the 1,2,2-active-tourer,3,i3,4,5,6,7,i8,M-sport,M-performance,M,M-competition,x1,x3,x4,x5,x6,z4 ... did I miss out on anything else? Not to mentioned the different hp outputs within each sub-brand, essentially from the same engine, with different tunes!!!
