trading my 330 for a 335

am thinking of trading in my 2 months old 330 for a 335.
160k for the 330 and 235k for the 335.
going to bleed real hard this time.

but life is short,enjoy before you expire.

LOL. Good work soldier! I would say save it. Don't jump the gun just yet. Prices for the 335 might lower and whatever problems with the new engine would be ironed out with time.

Oh come on, 2 months?? The 330i is an awesome ride, and all out, not that much slower. Life might be short, but not THAT short.

hmmmmmmmm... my advice is dont...

not worth it... lose too much leh!

the 335 price may drop a little.. and the spec sheet is certain to get better after the initial craze... and well, the 330 and 335 is different, but it isnt THAT much difference...

the interior is the same (almost)...

and we dont know any bugs in the new car yet...

buying it is of course good. but to suffer that kind of losses in 2 months for the 335, to me, not worth it...

I would wait a while more

but then its your call!

Alternatively can go source for a 335i engine in the future. Engine swap. Engines should look similar. cheaper alternative too.

Heard that 335 is still a 3.0L engine except additional twin turbo where max. torque is reach just 1300rpm all the way to 7000rpm

yup... its early torque that makes the difference... but beyond a certain RPM and speed, the M3 will still eat it... (i think..)

No offense, but put the rationale of selling your 330 for a switch to 335 in the context of financial prudence, does it make sense? Unless, of course, you have a "US$ printing machine".......

It's in progress already la.. I am already R&Ding a hybrid SinT54 engine.. SHhhhhhhhhhh

after much consideration, i have decided to keep my 330 instead.
cause the 335 will bleed me hard, and i dont think i can survive this massive blood letting.

instead i am hiop tuning and changing the exhaust on my 330 and hopefully get 30 more hp.

also i will be buying the TOTO on a more agrressive level.

I very much doubt that the price will drop. And you have to consider that when the gahmen announces the new COE allocation, prices of COEs will soar. [Underused public transport etcetcetc]. So I wouldn't wait *too* long if I were you --- certainly not beyond February.
