Kudos to the Brazilian twins playing the wingers, must have surprised the gunners.
Welcome back, Valencia....
I thought it was a dumb team sheet and formation, until the game progresses...... he was trying to suffocate the Arsenal midfield and run them dry of ideas....... the Brazilian twins were fresh faces to Arsenal - just look at how Fabio ran through the centre for the first goal, and how Rafael dribbled the Arsenal defence for the setup of the second.etan1 said:It was frustrating watching Man U too.... O'Shea and Gibson in central midfield...
Bright sparks were Smalling, Vidic, Rooney....

Arsenal might have played well in the midfield, but can hardly execute in the final third of the field. That's Arsene Archille's Heel.

He forgot that soccer is about attacking and defending.Niva said:Also one more thing...Wenger shld just stop whining bt teams parking their defence...lets face it...lesser teams will have to play like this..Birmingham, Bolton,Stoke..etc...then wat...open defence big big let yr players run rings...

If Fabregass plays, you look so much more threatening. Without him, to be honest, Arsenal look pretty ordinary. Nasri has blossomed a lot this season, Wilshire has his moments, but not too many and Van Persie can create something out of nothing, but without Fabregass, it all seems to be hard work but no end product.highbury;621657 said:Another poor display from Arsenal. We seemed ok initially but ManU finished better. Congrats. Now we just have to aim for the BPL.
Is it just me or does it seem like the Arsenal players have all gone soft? Maybe their confidence is low but when I look at the Liverpool players (especially in the game against ManU) they all seem very fired up. Arsenal players look weak.
I think that the worst thing about this is the injury to DJ Oru. Can we ever finish a game with eleven men. Now that the DJ is no longer in the house for the rest of the season our defence is even weaker:errr:

There are too many players at Arsenal not up to the standard. The 2 players you mention can be added to Rosisky, Chamak, Eboui, Gibbs, all your goalies, most of your defenders with the exception of the Dutch chappie that is out injured.dleo;621715 said:That's the problem... Arsenal are too reliant on Cesc. Players like Diaby and Denilson should leave the club as far as I am concerned.

Nani crying to leave Old Trafford
Nani is considering making a move from England to Italy after four seasons with Manchester United.
According to reports in the Guardian, the Portuguese has spoken with his family and agent, Jorge Mendes, about whether it is the right time to leave Old Trafford for greener pastures in Italy.
Although he is not unhappy at Manchester, the 24-year-old is reportedly bored and seeking a new challenge, if not this summer than almost definitely the next.
Nani believes that he has reached the same level as Cristiano Ronaldo and is looking at another Barclays Premier League or UEFA Champions League winner's medal to end his time at the club.
Sir Alex Ferguson has previously had to talk him out of leaving in 2010, but with Nani's current influence on the side, the damage will be all the greater, given his contribution this season of ten goals and 15 assists.
Nani has won the Champions League, the Club World Cup, two Premier League titles and two Carling Cups in his time at Old Trafford.
