Run-Flats ? Repair or Change

U can buy the "worm" and fix yourself. The bottle sealant can be purchased from AD or Eng Soon or autobacs.

Not talking nonsense. I fixed a couple of flats using the worm and compressor myself. It's only difficult if it's on the rears

Whiskie... I'm interested...

U mean can fix without removing wheel?

Or remove wheel and repair same way as tire shop?

Does anyone have any issues converting to standard tyres?

I don't want to stay on run flats.... too expensive

Depending on the situation, I will rather have a Tire Repair Kit and don't need it, rather than need it and don't have it.

5 years shelf life...good enough for me :)

My friend's E90 is shod with run flats all round.
PML advises against doing patching if one of the tyres get punctured, but to replace the tyre...almost $400 per tyre!!! Quite expensive for simple nail / sharps injuries.
What is the general opinion? Do a $10 patch repair job or go for a $400 replacement tyre?

Buy the repair kit. Cost me RM15 in JB and have use it effectively once.
