That's for a pair of pads, rotors and wear sensor?

Your eom and original same manufacturer?

Yes for the rear axle, The brands we carry are OEM for BMW pads, however different series have different OEM brands.
But not to worry on quality as these brands are all world renown.

Re: Replace rear brake pads

I changed my rear brake pad ard 28000 Kms.. Costs was $230 + labour $60..

All original parts box I saw..

with sensor complete set all in... Will not reach $1200...

Re: Replace rear brake pads

Yep.. Display fault code prompt you to change.. Should be around 20 plus to 30 plus
thousands.. Cant be too far away..

Re: Replace rear brake pads

Something wrong somewhere... I know of many F10's all 20 plus K only..

Unless brake pads changed to other types... or yours not new F10's.. Strange..

Re: Replace rear brake pads

No, i did not use Autohold.. So very strange.. Just normal braking..
And i hardly do hard driving.. just soft driving.. haha..

Re: Replace rear brake pads

Its not how hard you drive. Its how hard you brake.

Re: Replace rear brake pads

if everyday drive in the city then brakes sure fade fast...

But then again, nowadays highways also same as city. Jam everyday and night.

You are driving a 1.5 ton car. It takes more braking force as compared to lighter weight car.

Re: Replace rear brake pads

I took my brand new car for 1st servicing and was told to change my rear brake pad....I was ???? Cut thing short, was told ideally was 20k must change brake but usually about 20k plus than change for my case. I bought my original pad and sensor for $130 plus in serangoon area if my memory didn't fail me, and get a mechanic change at $60 at sin Ming and reset the rear brake timer. Less than $200 but pml charge $450. That my legal way of cutting cost but my friends said I am cheap skate, can afford bm want to save on servicing...I went !!!!
