realized that BMW Gummi PLege has been replaced by Carbaflo (teflon based) ?

I had the same problem with my Z4. I brought it back to PML cause it was under Warranty and told them to tighten and change the bolts in the panels. been abt 2 months and the rattling has not come back yet. After doing this the noise reduction is also amazing .

I faced the same problem with the squeaking sounds until I replaced all the rubber seals on my Z3 - M54B22. It is quiet now and a can of the teflon lube should help me maintain the seals better. ..... just wondering if owners of Zs meet for night topless drive?

I reckon the best way would be trying to isolate vibrations from interior panels. However, all topless cars due suffer body scuttle due to inherent chassis weakness.
I'm trying to tackle this problems after i install my new top. The other option is putting the hard top back on if you have one.
