The Sebring exhaust are infact louder. Saw the owner Sin Min Famous Exhaust Workshop complaining (due to wife also) after installing for less than 1 week.

The workshop done some little mod. to restrict the opening at tailpipe which help to lower the noise but still got the bassy sound.

Hope this will help you in your decision in sourcing for after market exhaust.

Thanks for your comments and advises. I think my Topic Title and my question is very misleading. My preference is I would like to have an exhuast that is bassier and not that much louder than stock when idling and cruising. Most importantly I would prefer not to have droning in the cabin when I am cruising at around 90KM/H. Only when I rev past 3k to 3.5k rpm will the exhuast get bassier and louder than stock. Of cos I love the bassy rumble when hard revving, but due to my Wife and also partly of myself that I do not want an exhuast that is very loud even when idling or normal driving. I do not know whether is there an exhuast but from feedback, Sebring and Supersprint exhuasts seem to fit the bill. Thanks to all for the advise!

Thanks for your advise bro. FInally I decided and I did something very poseur...I welded on a twin tip onto my OEM exhuast system. Had wanted to get the ACS figure 8 tip but the replica tips looked very cheapo and finally decided on the twin chrome tips...now looks much better than stock. The Bumper cut out looked very empty but now very nice and still quiet. My pocket happy, wife and myself also happy heehee

admitting to being poseur sorta .... well... goes some way towards the mitigation of the sin. At least you acted straight in front of the forum. So probably you did the tips for your own liking and not for others' admiration. And that's fine by my book FWIW.

Very smart move indeed. Kudos to you for admitting. It's fine I guess. Again, to each his own. It's your car and you've got to be happy owning it. Afterall, you're the one paying the instalments. Everybody has opinions....and you know what they say about opinions.

Yup hehe, its more for my admiration, normally and 100% of the time, I reverse park at any carpark, after putting on the tips, I keep parking head in so I can admire my new tips when I alight, abit silly I guess but Im really happy bout how it looks now hehehe

Yup hehe, its more for my admiration, normally and 100% of the time, I reverse park at any carpark, after putting on the tips, I keep parking head in so I can admire my new tips when I alight, abit silly I guess but Im really happy bout how it looks now hehehe

you make me wanna burn my tips just to get the blue color `titanium' look...

Actually u can get the "burnt" tips from Autobacs... think they are like 80-90mm in width!

Ahhhh my backside itchy again. I will most prob be going for the Sebring Quads Exhausts from Fong Kim. It will be arriving on 2nd of Feb. Cant wait for it to arrive heehee

It will be loud bro, especially in basement carpark...nice deep bassy sound but not very loud type.
