FYI: If u use open pod w/o a proper heat shield, I promise u that your Hp/Nm will be worst off i.e. air filter is e only mod you do. Yes, e engine needs more air to upz e Hp/Nm but it is about more cool air and not more hot air where the resultant Hp/Nm will be lower over OEM.
Please be informed that your daily driving on SG road is generally stop-move-stop-move, heat will build up in e engine bay, we are not talking about tracking but daily driven practicality. Therefore what the open pod is sucking in, is primarily hot air w/o proper shielding and/or 'ducts/piping' to channel air from exterior.
Advise: Don't just mod mod bcoz mod is shiok, u got to know what is what, when is when, what compliant what, etc etc.
