Cheap e36 coupe

Re: Cheap e36 coupe

that car is for tender...u try bidding for 20k lor.. should be able to fend off other bidders. :) anyway e car's being repo.. so i dont tink e condition is that great

Re: Cheap e36 coupe

mine also was a repo but condition not too bad.
anyway, it depends on whether the stupid finance co or bank allows u to open u the car to see or test drive...so dun allow anything.
anyway, i expect the few usual bigger dealers to come bid for it.

Re: Cheap e36 coupe

don't think you can see or test it. GE Money don't have have the key to the car.

Re: Cheap e36 coupe

If tender $15k can get n reserve $5k for repair then is worth buying as condition don't look good. Sszone, you are lucky to get one with good condition, so today lunch on you hor.:lol2:

Re: Cheap e36 coupe

Hi, im a foreigner with fairly little knowledge with the law and taxes locally. Is $110000 all i have to pay to own this car ?

Re: Cheap e36 coupe

$5K is not even to touch up if the repossessed car is everything "Terok" conditions.

Since the tyre is flat and assuming paintwork is gonecase.
The $5k is merely enough for you to buy a new set of sport rim & good rubber plus a new body paintwork done by a repute spray painting workshop.

Those common wear & tear items must be changed to ensure the car are restored to safe condition to drive on road etc. Then you can do your primary school mat how much you need to replace these parts.

It may not be worthwhile to bid for the repo car unless otherwise u are sure that the car is still in good condition or you may know the person owner who taken well care of the car.

Does it even start? Might be well & truly stuffed. E.g. may need engine re-build, clutch, gearbox bearings, suspension arms, other major components such as cooling system, aircon pump, power steering pump, etc.

Might take quite a few weeks - and dollars - to get a truly trashed car back into reasonable condition. Maybe $10K if you're fussy. Interior may be a nasty mess also.

Re: Cheap e36 coupe

yes bro your are right. i went down to turf city and have a look. interior is dirty and worn off.
front bumper has a screw to keep the front fender to the dumper.
it will take someone with money and time to do up.
