hehehe . good suggestion u hv Jin Teck . That will keep me perpectually busy going to the mechanic and Propel !! By the way ,the steering cannot fit .will bring back to Propel to change ! Seong Hoe ( BMW authorised dealer ) help me dismentle my current steering ---- took pics of both ,so that I can explain to Propel and help me to find the right one . Wah lau ,saw people selling the " plastic " gear for my seat back recline on the Ebay .. .. I spent much effort ,sweat and $$ making the gears in Singapore ,melaka --semua tak boleh . But now I got jalan liao . Btw , I cannibolise both gear box to make my driver seat works ... This is called 1+1 = 1 . Will tell u guys the lond and winding road next meet up. See a swee swee E30 M3 in BMWClub Malaysia forum --- lau nua !!!! RM 19 k only leh ,

true enough, she's a total wreck. Paint work is dull, the interior, gray interior has essential become a 'beige' interior, leather is ratty. No idea abt the engine but it couldn't be any better.
ooo... did i mention the clump of tissue in the back seat? Didnt notice until a snide comment from my bro abt what went on in the back seat by the previous owner.

Not worth the hassle unless you have another "real" car, and this is a project to rebuild an E36 coupe as a 2nd car / weekend toy - in which case it all takes time & money.

mate, i actually think it is a good buy!!! again i understand the concerns of the nay sayers. i got a manual E36 coupe, a E46 M3 and a 645 with full Hamann conversion currently. had a E30 325 before as well. amongst all the cars, i can say the E36 is prob the best handling, most cost effective in terms of spares vs performance. Even in UK, there s a revival of interest in e36 coupes esp, many with M3 conversions in mind.
even dealers will bid ard 15-16k fr the car, thats shows the resilience of that mkt sector. this car will end up as a modern classic in due course.
my humble opinions.

m3 conversion can be done without the flash. wouldnt you love to drive one e36 m3 convert and scare e46s 325s, even 330s!!!
