The higest offer from a dealer so far is 34K. My paper value is 25k.

Sounds fair, If I were you, I would sell it and change to new ride. Electronics have moved on a great deal since 2006. I love the colour heads up display with sat nav on my ride and blue tooth integration is nice to have. Go try out the latest models and see if you feel it's worth upgrading.

I m leaving for overseas soon for some time so seems a shame to just leave my car lying around. Besides it has only 1yr 8 months left on its COE so was thinking of selling it or what not.

2006 Feb E90, 320i

does anyone has any clue what is the body value of this car? The higest offer from a dealer so far is 34K. My paper value is 25k. Without knowing the body value hard to make a decision... was thinking of trading it in to AD for a new ride also.. which makes more sense? couldnt find any updated data on this car in the forums here.

any input would be appreciated. thanks!

There's no approximate to body value as it varies year to year because of market demand. But I think you should be looking around 2-3k since e60s are fetching 4-5k. Perhaps u can check with propel or other scrap dealers for a price guide.

Simply put im asking if anyone knows what is body value.

Thanks for your comment, which doesnt help answer anything and serves little purpose. What is the point of your post bro? If you need clarification, you can ask ask nicely instead of saying it "has no meaning".

Just because something doesnt make sense to you doesnt mean it doesnt make sense to everybody. I suggest you amend your post to "doesnt make sense to me".

joshua182;1087522 said:

Why hesitate to call scrap yards for valuation on your body value?

Already did. Want to get a feel if the price is right. I thought the dealers offer was very fair.

What is the right value in your heart?
If the price is ok to you + if the car got some issue which need spend more money to repair than additional value then just sell it off.

You mean M6?

Re: BMW 320I Sale/scrap value

2K seems low.

Even E39 with uplorry GB can fetch 1k back in 2010.

Honestly, there is no pt starting a thread on this

because

value is in the eye of the beholder (l mean dealer)

How come ICT can use smart phone?

I have an F13 640i coupe and the wife drives an E60 525i. They are one generation apart but boy have the electronics changed. My wife calls my car the fighter jet when the heads up display project colour sat nav arrows on the windscreen. For models without heads up display, I understand elebest can install it aftermarket.

Re: BMW 320I Sale/scrap value

If 325i it's about 3.4k++ wherabouts dependent on condition because it's suitable for export... 320i lesser in demand overseas cos of the famous problems... left 1 yr ++ normally can try for resale..

There's a bro here with an '05 E90 320i sedan and claims he can get 3K for body. Maybe you should PM him for his dealer contacts.
