I m just curious cos now my ride will drag till redline before auto change gear unless I release accerator. Or manual change gears.

So I m wondering if there is problem with the turbo?

The blow of value sound is lesser

That's only if you have a blow off valve.

the 335 does not have a BOV as the boost pressures are not very high, so there will not be any sound.

Isn't that what you wanted? MA reprogrammed the ECU to hold the gear until it reaches the redline. They have found an 'innovative' way to deal with your complaints.

turbos are extremely hardy and highly unlikely to malfunction unless the boost pressure exceeds tolerances and the vanes break. Trust me, you will definitely know if this happens...

the only way to find out whether your turbo is 'leaking' (by that I think you mean losing boost pressure), is to install a boost gauge.

there's nothing wrong with your car. The 335 is a great car, but it will not behave like a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, if that's what you want...

Change your intake and exhaust ..... And it's like Daytona everyday.

Funny thing is I Used to have that loud psst sound....

Now is not so loud but have the sound.

Reckon the factory has a BOV but stock type ? Correct me if i am wrong.

Nope, that is not what I wanted.

What I want is the car does not die at low Rpm.

Now problem of car dying in low rpm solved but starts two new issue. High fuel consumption and very high revs.
Used to achieve average 7-7.5 heavy footed on 98.

Now V power average 6-6.5. 98 will be even lower.

Used to RPM change around 4-5k rpm... Now is 7- redline.

It is a great car still ....but trying to catch the car behaviour.

I am just having an idea the car turbo is not functionning well ....

dont have BOV, have a boost diverter.

Intake is drop in liao ...

IME all stock .... not intended to have any changes due to like the stock feeling ....
