18" rims to 19" rims for 335 sedan

Re: 18" rims to 19" rims for 335 sedan

Ben
If u go with +30 offset at the back, u will not encounter rub and no fender rolling is needed either.

Nice lookin rims, RS4'esque

Re: 18" rims to 19" rims for 335 sedan

From the info that I gathered, +30 will be ideal. As for rolling, I checked with Lye design, they quoted me $80-120. I feel a bit high, I heard usually cost about $60-80 only.May be can check with Ken or jack, They are experts.

My friend sent his car for fenders rolling, in the end he found there are crack lines on the paintwork. Don't know why like that? Can anyone enlighten on this?

New car? For older cars, possibly paint/clearcoat is easy to flake. If there was no heatgun used in the process, the cracking of the paint is possible.

Re: 18" rims to 19" rims for 335 sedan

That car is a 5 year old STI. He told me they used heat gun during rolling. I was supposed to send in my car for fenders rolling last saturday but I hold back.

That could well be the reason, especially if the paintwork is not maintain properly.

So many forumers have rolled their fenders and with Ah Lye's experience, need not worry.......

Re: 18" rims to 19" rims for 335 sedan

Design wise not much different between Schmeiden and Volk ME but price would be quite big different. Don't know about finishing?

You may check with Hurry Tyres or Leong Seng for the price.

Re: 18" rims to 19" rims for 335 sedan

Very nice rims and the concave spokes are so yummy!

Rolling of fenders are about that price range from Lye Design and Ah Lye does a great job! Heat the paint, remove some silicon filler and roll the fender!

Re: 18" rims to 19" rims for 335 sedan

Am I right to say that Schmeiden is polished finish and ME is painted finish?

is 200GT , get from Hurry better checked with Leong Seng bf I ordered from Hurry. The cost of 4 rims with tyres is about $8.5k. I believe the weight is different between Schmeiden and ME . Correct me if I am wrong the Schemeiden is lighter.
