Re: 125i Coupe

running 18" rim with 1.5 finger gap (front), 1 finger gap (rear). each time go in/out car park and over hump at ultra slow speed still can hear the scrapping sound once a while :( ... i pray it is the 'mud flap' that touch the ground

I am using stock 18" rims and my undercarriage hit the hump when leaving j8 basement carpark even at slow speed. Can only avoid the hump at ultra slow speed....

J8 carpark is a nightmare. My car cannot even go in. No way to come out, either.

18" rims with ZERO finger gap is da best. Hehehe!

Re: 125i Coupe

Hmm that's a shame, because the rims look abit wierd riding that height =( I guess there might be another way around it! :D

Re: 125i Coupe

Was wondering if anyone is interested to grp together to get an approved exhaust system for the 125?

Re: 125i Coupe

tintin, nice rims but agree with others... must lower otherwise look like a jeep beside other car... i drive a 125i convertible and had the rim changed but feel like a jeep beside a Z4 with coilovers... :)

125i mod to 130i

Hi, keen to know if anyone has done the successful ECU upgrade to maximise the 125i engine to 130i specs.

Re: 125i Coupe

Yes. If the 125i is a 3 litre then some Americans have done it successfully and gained around 50bhp. And it could even be slightly faster than a 130i.
Some 125i/325i are 2.5 litres in some markets...for instance, and from my experience testing both cars, between the 325i and 330i there is a huge performance difference, possibly bigger than 330i-335i.

Re: 125i Coupe

The mod requires more than just ECU tweaks, there are hardware involved too.

Yup.

A lot more work. I think buying 130i or 135i or even the 1M would be easier.

Of course, a lot of money will be involved too.
