Thanks for the feedback.
But was told that by PML that the blower motor can be access without removing the dash (either below the glove compartment or from the engine below the micro filter). So it seems that they don't know what they are talking about...
Is the replacement of the aircon blower for an E46 a big job, i.e. remove dash and stuff? Suspect that the blower bearings are worn out and giving out a chirping noise :(
I am hoping that it is accessible from say below the glove compartment, and not too difficult a job.

My car E46 318 requires me to unlock the car first via remote before I can open the boot via the remote.
Can check if this is normal. Anyone can open the boot directly with out unlocking the car first?

I think I am having this 'bird chirping' noise. As it comes about when the aircon fan is blowing... suspect is the fan blower... :( Car is an E46 318).
As I am v apprehensive of stripping the dashboard... can anyone please tell me where this blower is located...
